Massimo Troisi was an Italian actor, cabaret performer, screenwriter, and film director who died on June 4, 1994. He is most known for his roles in the films I’m Starting from Three (1981), Nothing Left to Do but Cry (1984), and Il Postino: The Postman (1994), for which he received two Oscar nominations posthumously. He is known as “the comic of feelings” and is regarded as one of the most prominent actors in Italian theater and cinema.
