Mario has a typical life, working in a bank in Milan. When he witnesses a murder and is shot himself by the perpetrator, a mad police commissioner, his daily routine is broken. He must quit his life and flee to Puerto Escondido, Mexico, to save his life. When he runs out of money, he joins up with Alex and Anita, two Italians who will take him on a series of adventures and confrontations with drug traffickers, crooked police officials, and other strange individuals.
