A collection of disconnected legendary stories set in first-century Rome.
Fellini Satyricon, or simply Satyricon, is a 1969 Italian fantasy drama film written and directed by Federico Fellini that is largely based on Petronius’ book Satyricon, published during Emperor Nero’s reign and set in imperial Rome. The film is broken into nine segments that follow Encolpius and his companion Ascyltus as they attempt to win the love of a little boy named Gitón amid a strange and dream-like Roman environment.
