During an exorcism, Father Maurice encounters Giuditta, a small demon who refuses to return to hell and instead wishes to explore the earth.
The Little Devil (originally titled Il piccolo diavolo) is a 1988 Italian film directed and starring Roberto Benigni, with Walter Matthau, Stefania Sandrelli, Nicoletta Braschi, and John Lurie also appearing. An English version of the film, with local subtitles, has been broadcast and distributed on VHS in various European countries and Australia. The major actors’ voices are dubbed by themselves in the English version; certain sequences may have been shot in both languages.
