Fabulinus

Fabulinus was a minor archaic birth and childhood deity in Roman mythology.

His name comes from the Latin fabulari, meaning to speak: in fact, Fabulinus was thought to teach children to speak. In Rome, mothers would make an offering to him when their children uttered their first word.
