Dea Dia, often known as the “Bright Goddess” or “Goddess of Daylight,” was a fertility and growth goddess in the ancient Roman pantheon.
She was sometimes compared to Ceres and other times to Demeter, her Greek counterpart. During the Ceres festival of Ambarvalia, she was revered. Her priests, the Fratres Arvales, celebrated her with a three-day feast in May.
