Aprus

| |

Aprus was the Roman goddess of gardens, and was responsible for overseeing over the opening of the corollas of flowers.

The month of April would be named after Aprus, according to Jacob Grimm. Other versions, however, place Aprus as a different name by which Aphrodite was known. She is not to be confused with the Italic and Roman goddess Flora, who is the patron goddess of cereals and fruit trees and the blossoming of plants for the creation of food.
